Applications :

DAC provides excellent water solubility and flocculation through its own polymerization or copolymerization with monomers with other functional groups, its co-polymer can be widely used in industrial water treatment and paper industry. It can also be used in the following applications: antistatic layers for fibre optic polyester fibres, colouring of fibre optic acid dyes, acid stabilisers for paper, electrostatic coatings for paper, mineral recovery, ion exchange resins, antistatic coatings for fibre optics, adhesives etc.

Functional properties:

DAC is a water soluble acrylate monomer with high cationic activity and charge density, providing superior flocculation and coagulation. It can be polymerised on its own or copolymerised with monomers with other functional groups such as acrylamide, acrylonitrile, styrene, vinyl acetate, methyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate.
